Hi all, I've decided to open requests now that most of the staff are back and sorted out. Please make certain that you read the sticky thread marked 'IMPORTANT' in the request forums from start to finish, as we have a new method of ensuring that the number of requests posted remains fair to the staff and as fair to our members as possible. We've done away with the numbering of threads, as this system was too confusing for both staff and members. Please read the entire sticky before posting as there is some important information regarding when you may post requests, as well as how you must structure your subject lines. Please note that new posters who ignore the new guidelines will have their thread moved to the request dump or deleted, and they will also lose karma. |

Alright so all can see the NSHC is back on its feet, or getting near there at least. All requests, except for the FFA of course, are closed. Please do not post there until you find some place that says they are open again. Half the current staff team has not even registered and logged in so that needs to happen. Those that are currently part of staff please register and send a message to either Romania or Haiku so that you can be updated and all that fun stuff, you can also post on the general topic Haiku made in the General board area that is a sticky up at the top just to be sure you will get done in a timely manner. If you have questions, comments or concerns post in the general board or shout it out. Feel free to familiarize yourself with these lovely new forums and everyone leave a big thanks to C for doing this, she desevers it in the very least. With any luck we will be back up to running speed in no time and then requests will be settled and what not and life will go back to normal. Chat, critique, find freebies, and have a fun time! One more quick thing. To make it easier for the admin/staff please use your user name in the name box. Because of how these boards are set up in the admin panel it is just easier this way. Those who have already registered can change that in their profiles I believe and those who haven't joined and can well just fill in their username twice. Thanks! |

What is NSHC? NSHC is a free online community called a 'studio' for people who are interested in role play gaming. We create free portraits for role play characters. Most of our poHoirtraits are photomanipulations - original artworks using already existing photography. For some examples of the type of images we create, please head over to the pick up section in our forums to see the work that we have been creating recently, or look at our gallery. As well as providing photomanipulation artworks, we also complete other digital and real media art on request.
Most of our requests are for equine and animal characters, with many members of NSHC passionate about animals, most particularly horses.
The staff members of NSHC are all talented and experienced artists who work hard for our website. When a request is completed by an NSHC staff member, it is generally of a high standard.
We also have a "free-for-all" section where anyone may make a request or complete one for someone else. This is a good opportunity for artists to practise their skills and work towards specific goals and requests.
NSHC is more than just a personalizing studio, it's an online community and family. Many of our members have been active for years and we work hard to maintain a friendly and supportive environment for all members, both new and old.
NSHC also has a fairly extensive gallery, most primarily of stock photographs of horses that are permitted to be used with certain caveats in digital artworks. The gallery is soon to be retooled and streamlined to provide better search capabilities. |
